Established in 1982 by a "Father & Son" team, initially as a small steel service centre. With that humble beginning 19 years ago, today, SCL is one of the largest North American "Direct Exporter" and full-fledged "Steel Service Centre" of Secondary, Excess Prime and Over Rolled steel to over 15 countries worldwide with an annual turnover of over US $ 50 Million. Cumulative experience of key personnel at SCL is in excess of 100 years.

At any given time we stock over 40,000 Metric Tons (88,184,160 Lbs) of secondary Galvanize, HDG, GalvAlume, Galvanneal, Electro-Galvanize, ETP Tin Plate, Tin Mill Black Plate, Misprints, CR, HR and Stainless Steel in Coil and Sheet forms. Our environmentally controlled Warehousing Facilities, spanned over an area of 175,000 Sq. Ft., with built-in loading docks, where ocean containers are loaded almost round the clock, we ship, on an average over 10,000 Metric Tons (22,046,040 Lbs) of secondary steel to practically every nook and corner of the globe. Our "JITS" (Just in time shipment) system is second to none in the industry with prompt shipments of our secondary steel material of virtually any quantity to our vast customer base worldwide.
